With over 35 million members, AARP is the leading nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization for people age 50 and over in the United States. The group is known for providing a host of services to this ever-growing segment of the population.

Criminal Justice
The American Society of Criminology is an international organization concerned with criminology, embracing scholarly, scientific, and professional knowledge concerning the etiology, prevention, control and treatment of crime and delinquency. This includes the measurement and detection of crime, legislation and practice of criminal law, as well as the law enforcement, judicial and correctional systems.
The National Center for Victims of Crime is the nation's leading resource and advocacy organization for crime victims.
The National Crime Prevention Council's Mission is to enable people to create safer and more caring communities by addressing the causes of crime and violence and reducing the opportunities for crime to occur.
Federal Bureau of Investigation contains facts and figures about the FBI including priorities, history and types of crime.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons site has statistics, current research, annual reports, and history of the Bureau of Prisons and its institutions.
U.S. Department of Justice. Listing of all agencies under this umbrella, including the Department of Homeland Security, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
National Center for State Courts. Ten judicial organizations comprise the center. Through original research, consulting services, publications, and national educational programs, NCSC offers solutions that enhance court operations with the latest technology; collects and interprets the latest data on court operations nationwide; and provides information on proven "best practices" for improving court operations.
Diversity
Sociology of Race and Ethnicity. Excellent site with information about all minority groups in the United States and links to topical web pages.
National Congress of American Indians NCAI serves as a forum for consensus-based policy development among its membership of over 250 tribal governments from every region of the country. It's mission is to inform the public and the federal government on tribal self-government, treaty rights, and a broad range of federal policy issues affecting tribal governments.

Families
The Administration for Children and Families is a federal agency funding state, territory, local, and tribal organizations to provide family assistance (welfare), child support, child care, Head Start, child welfare, and other programs relating to children and families.
Facts for Families. The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry developed Facts for Families to provide concise and up-to-date information on issues that affect children, teenagers, and their families.
Marriage and the Family Processes. This site shows how family processes change from marriage until it concludes with the death of one spouse.

The Feminist Theory Website has three parts: 1) various fields within feminist theory; 2) different national /ethnic feminisms; and 3) individual feminists.
Gender and Sexuality. This page publishes texts which address gender studies and queer studies, with a particular focus upon discussions of sex, gender, sexual identity and sexuality in cultural practices.
Gender INN is a searchable database providing access to over 8,300 records pertaining to feminist theory, feminist literary criticism and gender studies focusing on English and American literature.
