When using our online databases, please be aware of the following:

• Our online databases are accessed through subscriptions with outside vendors. When you link to a database, you are leaving the OCLS domain. Your search experience will vary depending on the database provider.
• The databases will "time-out" after a period of inactivity. This period varies by database, so it's a good idea to not let your search sit idle for more than a few minutes.
• If you save or mark records in a database, you should always be sure to email the list to yourself or print it before leaving the database. Because when you leave a database, your list of saved and/or marked records is automatically deleted.
• After selecting a database, you will be prompted to enter your Global ID and Global ID password. If you have forgotten your Global ID and password, contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@cmich.edu or call (989) 774-3662. You can also reset your password if you know only your Global ID.
